The Earth Below emerged this way. What began as a landscape slowly clarified into something much larger—a view of the earth seen from afar, as if from the stillness of space. When you step back, the familiar becomes newly strange, and the vastness of our world is held in a quiet, contemplative frame.
There is a sense of distance here, but not detachment. Instead, the painting invites reflection—on perspective, on scale, and on our place within something far greater than ourselves.
