Somewhere On Old Greensboro Highway IV

For many years I lived and painted in Charlotte, NC. I traveled many of the back roads in the area during my time there. There was a black and white photo from a local newspaper of the Old Greensboro Highway that has always fascinated me. The fog was hanging low over the road and a nearby lake that morning giving it a very haunted sort of look.  I painted this image many times.
