Mission

This mission painting was inspired by the San Xavier Mission south of Tucson, Arizona. It was founded by Father Kino on the Tohono O'odham Native American Reservation. It is a beautiful example of southwestern architecture and an important piece of our history. I painted this from memories of my many visits to the Mission.

This original is in a private collection. It is 20" x 16", acrylic on canvas.
