Medicine Dance on Black Mountain

I ran out of gas late one night at the base of Black Mountain, south of Tucson, on the Tohono O'odham reservation. Black Mountain is a sacred mountain to the Tohono O'odham people. While I waited for help to come, I had a vision of a ceremonial dance on the mountain. I heard drumming and singing.  I’m not sure anybody else did.  This piece won best of show at the Tubac Center of the Arts, Tubac, AZ.
