Day Trippin' Through the Sonoran on a Bright, Cloud-Filled, Sunny Day
Adventure awaits on the long road ahead. The Sonoran Desert stretching out before us, adorned in vibrant colors, the sun dancing through the scattered clouds. Nature’s artistry in all its glory. With each step I capture mental and emotional snapshots of this glory. For years to come, those who behold the painting will be transported to that bright, cloud-filled, sunny day, and experience the undeniable magic of the Sonoran Desert—a testament to the connection between nature, art, and the human spirit. As with all my landscapes, this is painted from my memories of trips out into the Sonoran Desert of Southern Arizona. I take mental and emotional pictures, go back to the studio, and over time paint my impression of those glorious wanderings in the field.
