Somewhere on Fidalgo Island, WA
I often paint without a clear destination in mind—just following the process, letting the colors and forms lead the way. Then, at some point, a little voice says, “Stop. Look at what you’ve done.” That’s what happened here. When I stepped back, I realized I had painted a place in Washington state where I lived years ago, a place I once knew well—Fidalgo Island.
Somehow, the memory had surfaced through the paint, finding its way onto the canvas before I even knew it was there.
The original acrylic painting is 20" x 16" on canvas, available for $4,160.00. It’s ready to hang.
A quiet landscape that settles into a space, becoming part of its rhythm.
