“'Uncle Albert' has traveled with me for over 40 years from Charlotte, NC to Chicago,Il and Davenport,IA. Due to his 6’ stature he has played  a major role in the houses I have lived in.“

Uncle Albert I

"When we moved to Arizona several years ago from North Carolina, one of the things I enjoyed seeing was how the sunlight reflects such beautiful colors on the clouds. I also enjoyed the backdrop of the landscape of different rock formations and color variations as well as the desert flowers. I am in awe of God’s artistry. Victor has such a gift of bringing that artistry to life on canvas. When David and I saw 'Day Trippin’ Through the Sonoran' for the first time, the blue sky with the warmth of the sunlight on the clouds and orangish/yellow desert flowers, it brought a smile to our faces. We enjoy taking day trips through the Arizona desert, which made this the perfect addition to our art collection."

Little Chapel

"David and I fell in love with 'Little Chapel' the first time we saw it. Its simplicity and deep rich colors felt like home. It’s as though it is inviting you to come in. The original frame he made has such a rustic character. When we learned the history of this lovely piece of art we loved it even more. Reconnecting with Victor after many years, it seemed appropriate for us to have it when learning the spiritual impact my parents had in his life while he lived in North Carolina. What a blessing to own such a rich and beautiful piece of art."

"I have lived with Victor's art for many years now. In the U.S. or in Mexico, his art has always been a special part of my home. I have always enjoyed walking into a room and being greeted by my old friends, his paintings."

"I would love to walk through a museum of Victor’s artwork. Victor’s pieces that I have chosen to hang in my home are exquisite, masterful representations of things that I already love - the Santa Rita Mountains, San Xavier Mission, and Yeshua. Victor is a master painter using beautiful colors, lighting, and shadows to bring his paintings to life."

The Master

"What can be said of 'The Master'? It truly is a masterpiece! I loved it from the moment I first laid eyes on it. The brown, burgundy, and gold colors speak of Christ’s humility, blood sacrifice, and glory. Victor masterfully used a crackling technique with his brush that makes a  newer painting of the Ancient of Days look ancient!"

Santa Rita Morning

"In 'Santa Rita Morning', Victor captured the beautiful Santa Rita’s so skillfully, that even though I don’t have a window overlooking the mountains, he created a painting that makes me feel like I do!"

Mission

"Victor painted  'Mission' from his own memories of visiting San Xavier Mission in Tucson, AZ. Exquisite colors and lighting recreate his vision of the mission. Even those who framed it called it a masterpiece!"

“We just wanted to thank you for the paintings. They are the only two paintings in years that have ever made it on our living room and dining room walls. That says a lot!”

I gave this original painting to a friend as a birthday gift, who then gifted it to her friend who then gifted it to her daughter.  Many years later the daughter found me online.  She and her husband came to meet us and to visit us in Arizona and have become very dear friends and collectors of my art.

"I acquired [this painting] roughly 20 years ago from a cool used furniture store in Seattle. [I] just loved it when I saw it there.  It’s been on my wall ever since."

[Jay reached out to me about this piece because he was moving and needed to downsize, the painting was too big for his new home.    I reached out later to ask what had happened to the painting.]

"I moved it with me. I decided I like it too much to pass it on so kept it. See it featured prominently in my new place in [this] little mountain town."

'Little Egypt' is what I consider a one off, or one of a kind.  At the time I painted this piece, I was painting 'odes' to different well known artists.  This is an ode to Jackson Pollock.  I also painted odes to Matisse and others.  Artists often paint odes as a way to honor the work of other artists.  This particular piece is one I had forgotten. It's truly amazing to discover pieces of art I have done over the years through my collectors and the notes and photos they send us.

“[We] love [our] new painting. [We] haven't found a place to hang it yet, but [we'll]send a photo when [we] do.”

Within an hour of sharing this original, 'Song of Orion', online, Tom and Laurie called and purchased it.  I hadn't even set a price for it until their call!

"My wife and I have been fans of Victor Steven Rosenberg’s art for almost 2 decades.  He is truly a living legend.

"The piece 'Santa Rita Morning' is one of our favorites.  As a native Tucsonan who has seen many a sunrise on the Santa Rita Mountain Range, I can testify that Victor’s grasp of earth and sky tones are masterful and inspiring.  We never tire of looking at this creative and abstract work of art that captures the essence and uniqueness of our Southwest Deserts."

“We feel so privileged to own an [original painting] by Victor Steven Rosenberg. He tells stories through his artistry. Depending on lighting [his art] tells us a vivid new story every day! And his use of dramatic color provides a focal point for guests to engage in and enjoy."

"I live with Victor’s art 24-7 and it never, never gets old.  ‘Sunset Canyon’ is a painting that he gave me after the last brush stroke because I fell in love with it.  It reminds me of the Grand Canyon and the summer storms that move across its ever-changing landscape.  When the clouds roll in, the Canyon walls change as the cloud shadows play across their surfaces. From far off you can see a storm sweep through the Canyon before moving off into the distant desert, leaving behind the fresh smell of creosote.  It’s an amazing light show captured in this exquisite painting.  Every time I see this piece in our home, it takes me to the Canyon and our monsoons."

"Victor, much time has passed, but I still have a little sketch signed "Victor S. Rosenberg." It was given to me in New Smyrna Beach, FL in the 80s where we were friends.  Nice to see you're still knee-deep in art!"
