Carina's Song

I never set out to paint a specific place in the cosmos—these pieces just come to me. Layers of color and movement build until the painting tells me it’s complete. Only then do I go searching, looking through images from the James Webb and Hubble telescopes to see if something out there echoes what I’ve put on canvas. More often than not, I find a match.
