Red Bird

‘Red Bird’ was shown in the Tubac Center of the Arts Members' Juried Exhibit, Tubac, AZ. With this painting, I set out to capture the strength and resilience of a Native American woman. Her gaze, both fierce and calm, carries the wisdom of her ancestors. Through her, you can feel the deep connection to the land and the traditions passed down for generations. The bold colors and expressive brushwork reflect that rhythm—like the pulse of nature, the heartbeat of tradition.

This piece is my tribute to the enduring spirit of Indigenous women and the power they hold within.
